Can we fall in love with the future?

Inspired by Rob Hopkins new book of the same title, how do we move forward from the doom and gloom climate conversation to one that activates us into making a future that is healthy for us and the planet?

The Nature Conversation Handbooks, published 30 years ago describe the ecological character of each London borough, it's natural history, culture and wildlife in a simple accessible writing style. That's why I have comissioned three (Newham, Sutton and Brent) of the 32 to a digital format so these can be shared more widely (they are out-of-print and mainly in private ownership).

These handbooks show us the past, can they provide a pathway to explore what the future might look like? What do we want nature recovery to look like in Newham, Sutton and Brent?

Robert Hopkins will be running a workshop, taking participants on a journey to the future. Come along and experience the adventure and be inspired for a future of hope not gloom.
